[style=text-transform:uppercase;]APPEARANCE
her body seems to be made of wire. her bones light, compact, and thin. even her muscles are tightly woven around her frame to make her look tiny. everything about her is small. her paws, curved, round, and delicate gather the ground underneath her and allow her the joy of walking and running. her elegant thin boned tail to curl and wave as she pleases. even araignée's ears are small. cupped and molded just to fit her head. but this is all besides the point. even though it's part of the reason she isn't entirely capable of preforming perfect battling duties, and seems to shine more in the art of hunting.no. whats more important is really what she looks like. her fur is thin, and it's short, stubby, and a very dark brown. almost black. it covers her entire body, not allowing any other colour to seep in. it's part of the reason she was named araignée, because of her sleek black pelt that, to her mother, resembled a creepy crawling spider. however, a permanent scar stains her exotic self. the mark of an outcast along her right flank, the gruesome 'x' that will never leav her side, that's what names her from any other feline in the land. her pelt is also water resistant. water seems to just slide off her pelt with ease.
though araignée's deep golden eyes are a fairly important part too. it means she's not blind. because they move, flick from side to side. her pupils narrow and expand, follow movements and take in specific twitches in her hunting grounds. you'd almost think a cat like this would be pretty springy and a more spook-worthy cat. but she's the complete opposite. araignée actually reacts to thing in a smooth, clock-work sort of way. she takes her time, bringing in all the details before unleashing her poison.
PERSONALITY
to be honest, araignée is a horrible beast. but you expected that, didn't you? her attitude takes complete and utter control over her actions and makes her do and say things she may later review and tell herself she didn't actually mean what she'd said, even if she thought it was appropriate at the time. though that's not what's important. what's important is the fact that she does not like other people. any form of company puts her on edge and has her nerves rattling. she can't stand having to put up with others. the mere idea sets her mind on fire with anger and rage. they bother her, and most of the time they ask questions. questions are the worst part. the mere idea of any other being asking her anything has her grinding her teeth.but this isn't to say she's not for hurting or maiming others. however gross and disgusting it later might turn out to be. in realism, the stature and frame of araignée's body typically prevents her from any real forms of fighting. realistically, if she was shoved into a proper, fair fight she would probably die. she may be a fit of rage with sharp teeth and dangerous claws, but that doesn't go to say she can take a real beating. she's frail, fragile, easily broken. though there is one thing that araignée enjoys doing, and does well.
she likes to torment others. torment, steal, mock and abuse. they make her day that much brighter with her haze of darkness. despite the fact that she has no friends, and doesn't like being around others. she has a relatively good sense of humour, so long as it's being done to another person other than herself. any sort of humiliation to her has her on edge and waiting for revenge. even though she can laugh and mock others. she's smart. and she knows what she's doing at all times. she's also reliable. and by reliable, i mean if you make her a promise, and she has to do something in return to get what she wants, she will very likely do it.
if she wants something, she does everything in her power to get it. if it means her doing for another, she'll do it. though, you may need to watch your back and be careful with her. she does have a history of backstabbing. be honest with her. honesty leads to you living that much longer of a life. she knows when someone's lying to her.even if she can lie, boldfaced behind your back.
HISTORY
her life began like any normal one. born within the confines of a tightly knit tribe. raised and nurtured by many of the other female cats that lounged around and waited for their time to produce offspring. she grew up with a fine outlook on things. but right from the beginning, she was a bad seed. with her poisonous personality, she was the backtalker out of her litter. she rarely heeded her parents rules, and outright ignored and challenged the leader and elders every word. she crept underneath the law, ignoring it with every step she took. it wasn't long before she realized what her shift form was. it matched the way she stood and appeared to everyone. her entire body was like and skinny, her eyes sharp and slowly taking in every detail. her striking nature easily fitting with her shift form. a spider. one of the most poisonous. a brown recluse and true to it's nature.she more often than not used her shifting form to her advantage, sneaking into areas most wouldn't be able to be in, without being caught. she could melt into the darkness, and stalk people without them realizing. she was undeniably patient. and undeniably seductive, too. no one in the tribe had realized her inability to produce kittens, mainly because of the fact that she strayed away from being selected, simply by not being there at the time, and having the excuse that she'd been with one of the toms. they usually lied alongside her, because she'd often tempt them with the thought of lending her body to them to use. some wanted kittens. but most of the ones she used mainly followed temptation. nothing would come of it though. no kittens, nothing.
but this isn't why she lurks in the dark, waiting for stragglers to pounce upon and kill. no, the reason she bores the mark of the outcast, a gruesome scar shaped elegantly in an 'x' across her right flank, is simply because she was found alone within the hunting grounds, taking part in the males duties as a hunter. having been too preoccupied with the pigeon she'd been stalking, one of the males had pounced upon her, believing that she herself was some form of a loner, straying within their territory. she was shoved back to the leader, where the elders and him spoke quickly and quietly about her serious offence. and because she'd originally been caught doing other things that females shouldn't do. and the fact that they'd had the slightest idea that she could not produce kittens, and was issuing danger for all of the tribe, she was exiled from them.
it didn't bother her though. she'd always wanted to feel the glory of sinking her claws and teeth into the cats of her tribe. to murder them without thought. it was one of the reasons she had secretly and quietly prayed to the god of death. and that might be the direct reason she was never killed. he wasn't ready for her yet. it seemed that she might be one of his pawns. the darkness swallowing her soul seemed to be the cause of vulcanrin. but no one really knew the true reason of her evil, cruel antics. it was just the way she was born. there was definite evidence of madness swallowing her thoughts. making her slowly delve into insanity.
and so now, araignée stalks the borders of her families tribe, slowly and surely pouncing on whomever strays to far away. whether it be harming them, or simply seducing them, it doesn't matter. its all a game to her.[/style]
