INDIGO
Well, her human Zack had just fallen asleep. The fluffy white and chocolate she-cat carefully disentangled herself from his arms and then stood on the bed and watched as he rolled over. With a smile Indigo Sky carefully padded off the bed and headed down the stairs, through the living room, to the kitchen counter and carefully she shinnied out through the window into the night. Once her white paws had met the snow blanket, she stretched and her tail twitched a little. A moment later, Indigo sat down, her chocolate tail wrapped around her paws as she looked up at the full moon.
A few moments later she had taken on her shift form and padded away from the human dwellings on silent Arctic Fox paws. Slipping through the break in the wall, she found herself in the lands of the Outsiders. She trotted toward the Rose Lake and shifted back into her cat form. Continuing deeper into the lands around the lake, Indigo halted her forward progress and sat down wrapping her tail around her paws once more. She looked at her reflection in the lake and smiled. She had beautiful blue eyes, and a beautiful, long, silky, snow white coat with lovely chocolate points, much like a Siamese cat but she was not a Siamese.
In fact, she was a Ragdoll cat instead. Her black nylon collar with her golden heart shaped tag was the only indication that she was in fact, a human’s pet. Despite being winter, the temperature wasn’t too horribly cold, and frankly, Indigo was happy that her coat was thick and long and would protect her rather well. And it helped that her tail was long enough to wrap from one flank to the other over her paws. Indigo then closed her blue pools and sent a silent pray up to Rashia. Asking that all things with nature would be well for the rest of the winter and into the next year. She sat quietly and glanced over the surface of the lake as the moon’s light reflected off it.
